In the future:

...cameras will not need an operator.
...they will levitate on their own and select and frame the subject
   automatically.
...they will select not only the proper exposure, but the instant to
   capture.
...images will be digitally processed and enhanced to look like you
   would prefer them to look according to a sophisticated algorithm
   derived from your publicly available internet credit history.
...pictures will be manipulated to remove those midriff bulges,
   facial wrinkles, blinked eyes, open mouths.

In fact, in the future, electronic devices will view the pictures
for you so you need not even be there.

In further fact, you need not be there when the picture is taken
because you can be digitally reconstructed and mapped from a matrix
of numbers (array).

Your lights will go on and off by themselves, your VCR, having set its
clock automatically, will record AND play back your favourite shows
and automatic cameras will record all your Golden Moments so that
they look like you would like them to look, and view them for you.

We will no longer need hobbyists or aficionados.
We will no longer need skills or hobbies.
We will have ASICs

Life will be... automatic?
