Re: Twin 35mm Stereo setups info wanted

The cable release depends on the cameras used. For electically released
cameras two cables from the manufacturer can be spliced together. For
mechnically released cameras Reel 3-D sells a twin cable release. This
is listed in a *supplement* to their current Catalog #18:

TWIN CABLE RELEASE for two mechanical-type shutter release cameras, up
to 20" separation, #8404, $49.95 (0.3 lb.)

At the same supplement we also find:

TWIN CAMERA BAR, holds two cameras, 16" long, weighs 10 oz., black
finished aluminum, protective friction pad, may be tripod mounted or
hand held. No. #8405, $53.95 (1.7 lbs.)

I am using electrically connected cameras in a twin camera bar that
I bought from Reel 3-D 5 or 6 years ago and I am happy with it!
