Well I think no one has asked why it looks so good, because its
obvious to most people including yourself. But here goes.
First of all its all done with mirrors. Front surface to be
exact, which obviously is better, I won't elaborate unless I have
to. Second no lens for the rays to go through and get distorted.
Third no magnification of the prints, which hides slight fuzziness
if present compared to a magnifier. Fourth, works like prismatic lens
due to its mirror arrangement. Fifth, no effective focal length thus
can view prints at much wider distances and stereo depth can be
reduced or enhanced. Sixth eye view is quite accomodating to eye
glass wearers or people that want to see better than tru a peep hole
as in some cheap viewers. Seventh the interocular spacing can be
adjusted. Eighth is a compact size. Ninth relatively inexpensive.
And finally last but not least TENTH. I can use it with Microsoft
Flight Simulator to fly in 3d panoramic mode!
What don't I like about it? I will have to sleep on it and respond
some other time. Okay George and others thats my2cents lets see
those drachmas, pesos, liras, rupees, francs , yen, etc.
Gabriel
