No one posted any reasons why the viewer is bad and I can't think
of any myself. Now if you had asked me what I don't like about
it, that would have been a slight different question, which I
could have and will answer.

The following has been thoroughly check, and contains 100% new material.

Top ten things I don't like about the View-magic viewer.

1. It's all done with mirrors, so you don't want to drop the sucker
unless you want 7 years bad luck.
2. They are a pain to clean if you get dust on them, they should put
a clear thin glass window on them.
3. The effect is similiar to freeviewing but is not actually free viewing.
It's costs a pretty penny, to buy it.
4. You have to buy two of them if you want the up-down and left-right version.
5. It can't be stuck in front of an SLR lens and used as a stereoadaptor.
6. I can't convert it readily into a periscope either.
7. It doesn't split any beams.
8. It has no provisions for lenses to magnify like the Geoscope (which
is similiar in arrangement but used for aerial mapping) from Australia.
9. Since it is similiar to a Geoscope and was also concieved over 100 years
ago, (I think the first stereoscope was done with mirrors) how did
the View-magic manage to get a patent.
10.And last but not least when I am playing, mean flying in MS Flight Sim
I gotta hold the darn things in my hand. They should have made them
hands free. Maybe put a strap on them that can be secured on the head.

P.S. I also don't like the fact that it contains no fancy processor like the
3Discover. Heck the mirror doesn't even rotate like in the Virtual Boy.
No electronics in it at all. Too bad.

Gabriel
