Good theory, another reason they also close their eyes is to concentrate
on the act or art of kissing. Closing the eyes reduces outside stimuli
the brain has to work on from the eye, the brain can then devote more
processor time to the other senses thus enhancing the stereo, I mean
kissing effect.
P.S. Crossing your eyes to see your nose, means never having to lie.
