one-eyed stereo?

/Yes, that's true. For my experiment, I chose a 2" x 2" lenticular print
that had an object (a bubble) that imaged out in front of the window or
picture frame. I wanted to be sure that, when I viewed the 'wiggling'
print with only one eye, I'd be able to recognize the so-called 'air
space' of 3D. I found that the bubble did seem to image out in front of
the window.
