Hey Alan, very nice web site. Alot of things to digest.;-)
I like what you did with your viewmaster and Edmund Scientific
loupes. I have done the same thing with exactly the same
loupes except I used the red view master. I commented about
it a while back in the digest. The one I made was not as
nice as the one you have contructed but it works nonetheless.
It was ironic thou because the loupes are intented for 35mm
slides but do not provide full coverage, but are perfectfor
the viewmaster. And likewise the lenses that come with the
V-M work well with the V-M reels but also work great with
full frame 3d slides, which is what I did. I modified a
regular V-M to slightly to view 3d 35mm slides with no extra
additions to the regular red V-M viewer but instead taking
out some parts from it and using a dremel to grind out some
excess plastic. I have posted the details a while back here
in P3D. Quality wise, yes it doesn't approach a Themelized
red button viewer but hey for 5 bucks it's not bad. Bye for
