I was a bit tounge in cheek with adding 3D to art being a calamidy. But
I would like to point out that "color photography" was the aim in the
beginning with Lipmann, Raleigh, etc. and we were forced into b&w
because they could figure how to capture the color photographically,
except by the additive process like Lumier Bros had which were related
to Dufaycolor and the current Polaroid instant color slide material.
So it was black and white that is the anomoly and not natural and became
popular, but has now been replaced by the rightful natural color film.
(or should I say video
