Difference in left/right exposures on Realist?

I've just notice, in my latest batches of slides, a very slight
difference in brightness between the left and right views of my
Realist pairs. The left side seems slightly darker than the right.
This is only apparent if you alternately close one eye and then the
other.

I'm using a Realist 3.5, and viewing in a Dr. T-refurbished Kodaslide
II. Is it possible the apertures or shutters on the camera are
slightly out of whack? I doubt this could be a viewer problem, but is
that possible?

Thanks.
