I think I saw David's fixed conversion.  The viewer was sent to me
by David and Susan (Reel 3-D) to change the lenses with a pair
of Wollensak lenses.  I concluded that the Wollensak lenses are almost
identical to the lenses used in the viewer.  I replaced only one lens
and was able to fuse the image with different lenses in the viewer!
I did not replace the lenses since I did not see any value in doing
so.  Thanks for putting the record straight!  From now on I will
call this the "Bob Aldridge" conversion!

I recently got one of those.  Can you give me more detail on
the viewer and history?  How common is it in the UK?
