Don't know about the Hama cutter, but GePe certainly still offer a
cutter of this type. All of these devices are simple miniature
guillotines with a channel for the film to run through.
I use a mounting jig made by Albion (of the slide mounts) in the early
'70s. It includes such a simple cutter. This used to have a pin to lock
the film in the same way as the Realist cutter, and a perspex clamp to
hold the film down. I removed the pin soon after I got it, and now mount
by eye. The cutter is illuminated by the same lamp as the jig.
