The best solution I have found it to remove the cork completely, then use
a plastic tube to put over the roller and have the roller slide over the
bare metal leg of the slide holder. Paul Wing mentioned this to me and
I saw it in one of the viewers that were sent to me. Seems to work better
than other methods.
In any case, it's a good idea to follow Allan Wood's advise:
>you can prevent the cork from getting compressed right were you need it not to
>by DE-FOCUSING the viewer before you put it away.
