Re: Imagination Needed

My junk drawer will not look very good! If I was given this as an
assignment, I would fake it by putting a colorful drawer cover and
arranging selected contents in a messy but tasteful manner! When I
mentioned close-ups in the kitchen I had food in my mind (cereals,
fruits, liquids, etc.)

I would wait for a windless day. All my flower close-ups up to now
are taken outdoors. Sometimes I had to block the wind (and part of
the light) with a cover over the flower. Sometimes I can see the
motion from the wind and wait for the motionless second to snap
the picture.

I don't think so especially if it just a common fence. We had an
assignment "Fences" last year in Detroit. Did not do well on this one.
Fences is a favorite 3D subject...

Yes, only if the plane is close enough to the ground to be able to see
the streets or other details. In this case you also need a fast motor
drive and the chances of success are very low. My wife finds the
clouds boring too. I find the depth in them fascinating but most people
have a sense of depth in clouds because of the very strong motion
parallax when flying and are not as impressed as I am.

Thank you! ;) One tip when shooting hand-held hyperstereos with slowly
moving clouds in the picture: Shoot fast and, assuming that you have a
choice, against the motion of clouds. This will bring the clouds
"beyond infinity" where they normally belong. Shooting with the clouds
can bring them closer than some close-by objects and this will look very
unnatural.
