Wirgin Stereo & VR Surfer LCD glasses
- From: P3D Ralph Johnston <copley@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

I looked up the Wirgin in my 87-88 copy of McKeown's price guide. On pages
450-451 it shows photos of both the Wirgin Edixa stereo, and the Wirgin
Stereo. They are non-rangefinder type and appear to be identical except for
the lever wind on the Wirgin.
Under the Edixa it says: c1955 35mm stereo. Steinheil Cassar f3.5/35mm
lenses. Vario shutter $70-90
I received my VR Surfer LCD goggles today. This was ordered last May from a
WEB page ad. They finally starting shipping them. This comes complete with
IR transmitter that plugs into the monitor cable on you PC or into the
video-out jack on your VCR. This is to synchronize the shutters to the
frames on the TV or monitor. There is a VHS tape for TV operation, plus 2
CD's of programs and demos. All for $69 plus S&H. More about it later
after I try it out.
