image brightness

Well, gosh...  Trying to glean a concensus is darn hard - but!

I think I see where the pendulum is swinging.

There is a definite trend to make "viewers" brighter.
Now there is concern that bright projectors will produce ghosting.

sigh... (you could just close your eyes, you know?)

Here is my current musing...  Switch the viewers and the pojectors -
functionally, I mean.  Use those twin 1000 watt lamps in the hand-held
viewer you put your face in.  Nice, bright, white illumination.  Wear
oven mitts though!

Put those viewer bulbs in the projector.  Voila! No "ghosting."

Workable?
I think not.
