Tuis can be sticky if not well defined. First what is called lines per
mm, might be line-pairs per mm. i.e. on black line and one white space.
Secondly, the optical resoluton seen by eye though a microscope might be
used for testing or inspection, but might not be achieved on film! BobH
(I have seen Olympus OM 50mm f/1.8 tested on film at 100 lpm. Many
cameras lenses now depress resolving power to get more contrast that
looks sharper in the size prints usually ordered.) BobH
