Allan, if it makes you feel any better, I did try the higher-brightness
EXR lamps in my Carousels, and the results were very pleasing.  My slides
look much brighter, and no noticable increase in ghosting was observed.
(Note that the *wattage* of FHS and EXR lamps is the same, 300Watts.)
