So far so good :-)  Although I have approached this study with a
different mental model, I have no problem with this one.  At this point I
would like to ask if it is relevant whether the aperture is encoded 
by color as opposed to polarization or other means, questioning whether
the eye's sensitivity to color overlapments should be part of the
model or not.

The nap idea is a good one ...szzzz....
