If you're not planning on projecting them, go ahead and mount them in the
Reel 3D slip-in Nimslo Mounts (Make sure you use a firm brush to remve paper
dust from the edges in the frame, and when you cut the film chips, cut them a
little narrow so that you will have a little freedom to adjust the window).
For projection, I don't know. I've used the albion with the blue paper
fold-overs with a lot of little white pieces of tape to keep the paper
fold-over binder flat. The Albion does make a nice clean window.
I agree that there is a small chance that you can damage your slides if you
don't take the time to deburr the edges and wash the oil off (I did't). When
I get some more cash, I'm planning on trying using up the rest of my albion
mounts and trying glass and the EMDE binders. And I'm also going to try the
RBT's.
Let me know what you find out in case someone emails you directly.
