Rare Kodaslide II

Among the many subjjects discussed with Bill Ewald was the green Kodaslide
II that he displayed at NSA '96.  He is pretty sure that this was only one of several
pre-production units that were made for market evaluation of different colors. 
He thought there were at least a grey one or two as well as light brown.  Does 
anyone on the list know more about these?  The green one appears to be a stand-
ard II, with achromats and the AC switch.  There is a slightly convex reflector
mounted on the back side of the slide carrier, between the mask apertures that
isn't on the production model.

Anybody know about these?
