TDC stereo vivid

I would like to know some basic information concerning The TDC stereo 
vivid.  Particularly, during what years was it manufactured, and how did 
it compare in quality to the Colorist?  I am considering upgrading to  
the vivid and would appreciate any information.  There doesn't seem to  
be very much information available on this particular camera.  Are they 
reliable?
