Appologies to Kodalux!

After grinding my teeth over my kinked Kodachrome problems and blaming
Kodalux, it dawned on me that the film was not returned in a Kodalux
envelope. I asked my local processor (Back-in-a-Flash) who they were sending
Kodachrome to for processing. They have always used Kodalux in the past but
it turns out that they have switched to Fuji True Color.

I got the customer service number for Fuji (1-800-880-2525) and called to
complain. The person I talked to had little sympathy. She said that the film
was processed in Phoenix and that they put it in the slide boxes to protect
the film. Besides, they normally cut and mounted the film anyway. I told her
that folding the film into a tiny slide box was hardly protection and that
they had in effect ruined much of my film. Her attitude was so what and
there was no offer to even reimburse me. I told her that I definitly would
not be using them for processing my Kodachrome in the future. Ok, she said.

This was a polite conversation. I was trying to get them to understand that
thew were damaging the film in their attempt to protect it. I felt like I
was talking to stump.

So, to Kodalux I offer my sincere appologies. The next time I send off my
Kodachrome, I will make sure it is to them.
