Getting started (Bob and me)

Bob Shotsberger is a well-known VM collector.  Reading the foreword in
his book "Next Reel Please" I see that we might have something in common.

Bob got into VM collecting in 3 stages: As a kid (like many of us), 
later in life to correct his daughter's "wandering eye" problem (doctor 
recommended stereo, nice job Doc! ;)) and, finally, in the mid 1980's 
when an article in an astronomy magazine gave NSA's address.  

Bob, if this article was in 1988, that's how I got into 3d too!  I 
discovered SEM 3d and was excited about trying regular 3d but did not
know if anyone in the world was doing this.  I then saw the article in 
"Sky and Telescope", got NSA's and Reel 3-D's address and catalog and... 
have been going strong ever since!
