L-5 (IMAX 3D) - 1ST HAND REPORT

Someone had asked me about the new IMAX 3D movie, L5, and if I had seen it.     
Well... I finally had the chance to see it last week and was very impressed 
by the 3D quality.  this was my first time at any IMAX 3D theater.  The 
movie was basically actors with some animated graphics.  it was great.  the 
head gear took a while to get used to, but once you got it seated on  your 
head correctly, it was OK.  the headsets have little speakers in them that 
add to the stereo effect!!  the plot was a little thin, but the 3D image 
made up for that little problem.  The next one I want to see is Across the 
Sea"  and is the story of a little boy coming to America and his story told 
through the eyes of a Holmes/Bates stereoscope.  it's supposed to be filled 
with old stereograph images.  Let's hope you can all experience the Edwards 
3D IMAX when the NSA comes to Orange County in 2001 (positive thinking)
