More on Double Exposure with VM-Personal

After reading Wolfgang Sell's instructions in Digest 1668, I tried it.
After several trials (with an empty camera), I finally got it right.
As it is possible to open the shutter unintentionally if not far enough
before backing up towards the original starting position, suggest that
anyone wanting to double expose practice with an empty camera to perfect
the technique.

Perhaps the following may be of help:
--In normal frame advancement, you will hear a "SNAP" sound when you start
advancing the film and another SNAP immediately before the film advance
locks.
--When wanting to double expose, you will hear the first SNAP when you
start advancing the film, then another SNAP as you wind (slowly-so you
do not get to the locking point). As soon as you hear this second SNAP,
wind in the opposite direction until you hear a third SNAP and feel the
advance lock. The counter will now show the same number as it did for
the previous exposure hence you will know that you did it correctly.
--I should have said to check the counter before starting the advance to
compare with the reading after you have followed this procedure.

Thanks again to Wolfgang as I would not have thought to try this for a
double exposure.
