Re: kids and dad

I find that if I involve my kids (8 and 5, not my 2 year old...)
in trying for awards or honorable mentions in club competition,
they get excited about it. They like to have their pictures
taken in stereo because I might enter it and win a ribbon (which
I give to them when that occurs). They also like to look at other
slides in general, particularly those that they think might be
good enough to enter the next time.
Now if you got _money_ for winning, they'd be out there
shooting 3d themselves...

P.S. Interestingly enough, I find my kids (even my 5 year old)
are particularly aware of when something is "3D" or not, and
comment on that aspect of things quite often. I don't recall
being aware of this much as a kid--I had completely forgotten
that the Viewmasters I had as a kid were 3D until I got involved
in 3D as an adult.
