Slide mounting

Does anyone use the GEPE 6102 stereo glass slide mounts?

I find the task of removing dust from the glass before mounting an extremely
trying one. If I'm lucky I can mount one slide every fifteen minutes. GEPE
markets these in cardboard boxes of 20 mounts. The dust from the box
tends to stick to the surface of the glass and is often impervious to
static resistent brushes and the Hite cloth. It takes forever to get the
last bits of dust out before being able to close up the mount.

If they marketed the mounts in plastic bags I would assume the mounts would
be as clean as the day they were made; maybe...

Do they use some kind of soft coating on the glass that allows dust to embed?
Do professional outfits have another cleaning technique? Ultrasonics?

Help! It's driving me nuts!

Regards to all
