Any flash will work on the Nimslo, I've personally used a National PE2850
with no problems. Remember that when the Nimslo detects a flash, it
automatically uses f5.6. If you are using a computer flash, make sure
that the f stop is compatible. With some Metz flash units, you can dial
up the f stop you want to use. The third terminal is only so that the
green led in the viewfinder will come on when the unit is charged. If you
are not using the Nimslo flash, the red led will come on in the
viewfinder. Don't worry, as long as the flash is charged, you will be
okay.
