Mike.....

This will probably work ok in a pinch and  has been discussed on the list a
few times in the recent past.  Aluminum foil will work as well, but it's a
bear to get it up without wrinkles.  Not a very big area to project on.
Don't expect great results, but it should work well enough to give a 3d effect.

My real suggestion however is that silver screens are pretty common in
thrift stores.  You may just luck out on a decent one real cheap.  Look for
the silver lenticular ones.  The ones with the granular coating will not work.

I'm in San Francisco, and one day I just went out and found a very nice old
screen for less than $10 that works great.  I see them all the time.
