Where to buy twin SLR bar and slide viewer?

I am rather new to stereo photography: my only experience, in fact,
consisted in reading some of the archived issues of this email-list! I
would like to begin by doing some 3-D photography while on vacation on
the Alps this winter - mountains should be interesting static subjects
for a beginner. 

I would like to buy a twin SLR bar, and a viewer for twin (separated)
35mm slides.  It would be nice if the bar would make it possible to:

1) mount one SLR on it, and then shift it (quickly) while maintaining
its orientation, to get the stereo pair with one camera only;

2) mount two SLRs on the bar. 

Of course, it should be possible to mount the bar to a tripod, and it
shouldn't be too difficult to make sure that the two camera backs are
parallel. 

As for the slide viewer, I am open to suggestions and comments.
