More Scanner Stuff

I tried to scan a small ornament on my flatbed colour scanner last night.
The ornament is a small face mask with dimensions of 2.5" x 2" x .75"
deep. (inches for my American friends) The result was a sharp image
right the way through. I'll have to try something thicker to see how it
goes. I would not have believed that the scanner would have such a great
depth of field? I originally thought that scanning slides mounted would
affect the clarity of the scan because the slide chip was not touching the
glass scan bed, but it obviously doesn't matter if I scan slides mounted
or unmounted.

Where can I view the scan of the Christmas decoration that I've read about
recently?
