Yes I have also experienced this problem. It was some time ago now - my
wife ruined one of her early stereo films this way, and has never
really got back to trying 3D again.


I can't remember if I fixed the problem. I know that before it
happened, I had taken the camera apart to fix a problem. My
recollection is that something I had done in re-assembly had induced
the fault (but I am not sure). Just now I can't remember if there was a
way to fix the problem or not. I'll go home and have a play with my
Revere to see if it jogs my memory (it's not my normal camera).


(I guess one way to avoid it happening might be to fully cock the
shutter by hand once the end of the roll is reached, and before
rewinding.)
