I've done what Peter Davis described (above) with the early Canon EOS
50mm/1.8, in both landscape and portrait orientation (I was pleased to
discover that the portrait modification preserves the auto-focus feature,
which is _very_ nice for parties, sporting events, etc. and is something
not found in the Q-DOS lens).  I don't have one for sale at present,
however, but might in the future.
