I've been doing some holiday cooking, too, but not with Martha
(who's Martha Stewart?) I'm melting down a chocolate Kodak for
fudge and brownies. Wish I'd thought to put RBT mounts on my
grocery list. They add a nice nutty crunch to my recipes.

I didn't intend to use this particular Kodak for baking. I was
getting it ready for sunny work in the snow and I wanted to make
sure there were no light leaks. I remembered that there was a guy
on this list who keeps his Realist from leaking by driving his car
over it, so I figured, hey anything a Realist can do a Kodak can do
right? (They're the same format after all). Well, to make a long
story short, it was a mistake and now I have a lot of chocolate
chips in the driveway.. Gotta leave that Themelizing stuff to the
experts!

I missed out on last year's collectibles, but of course everyone
knows that this year's hot item is the "Cliffordized" Stereo
Graphic with specially modified Depthmaster system. Neither lens is
in focus at *any* distance, but no matter what you point it at,
every picture however is guaranteed to be great art. Especially
naked ladies. If you don't agree, well you're just a $@^^^%& with
a %$&* and you couldn't take a picture of your own @%$&&! without
$%^#,.

To address the problem of uneven lighting in my Kodaslide II, I
recently frosted the lenses. I have some unanticipated focusing
problems to work out, but the light is perfectly diffused.

I'm also building a projection previewer viewer with 250 mm lenses
installed at an angle to the image. This will ensure that it
properly previews the slide from the point of view of the last seat
in the back, all the way to the left. This is the seat I usually
end up with at the conventions, as the veterans stake claims to the
prime seats early on. By the time I come stumbling in, feeling my
way to a seat (it's even worse if the lights are out) there aren't
many seats left.
