The Pioneer system _is_ a simple shutter glass system! This is the 
Japanese system from several years back developed for a laserdisc 
based system. Typical system, nothing new (3DTV's system probably
followed this). There was a rumor that Steven Speilberg was behind the
production of a title for the Pioneer system. I never could find a 
source in the United States. Alex did say he was going to Japan 
didn't he?
