In the previous (long) post I suggested that maybe a list for beginners
would be useful, with occasional (automated?) posting of instructional
information, and our resident experts on-line to answer questions that
beginners might have. With (presumably) a much lower volume than P3D,
people who are just starting out or just casually interested could learn
more without being overwhelmed. Once they've been on for a while, if
they're still interested, they could move over to P3D.

What I forgot to mention was a suggested name. I suggest "intro-3d"
as being self-explanatory, and fairly neutral as to the knowledge and
intelligence of the reader (as compared to "beginners-3d",
or "3d-for-dummies". :-)

Another possible benefit of this list is that it could cut down on some
of the repetition of basics on P3D.
