Thanks for bringing that up, Duane!  I recently made a similar 
observation to DrT off-list about the need for a more vertical format
for stereo photos.  In the work I have done to date, I have wanted
more height about 100 times for every 1 time I wanted more than the
5P width.  Those of us fortunate enough to have a synchronized pair
of 8-perf cameras oriented bottom-to-bottom (I don't), can handle
these shots much more readily.

It seems to me I've seen something recently about a wide-angle lens
attachment for the Realist.  I'm reluctant to go that route because
when I've wanted more height I usually don't want the wider view in
the horizontal axis that would go with it.  But in some cases it could
be just the right solution.
