In my original (3D :-) vision, there would not be cross-posting. People who
enjoy explaining things to the new folks could subscribe to intro-3d,
just to respond to questions.

I agree - it would be useful to discuss it and make sure it's as beneficial
as possible. (And also to make sure that our worthy administrators and their
machine can *handle* another list. :-)
