OK, since you asked ;) regarding the "red button" viewers and clones, the
following are available:

- red button, white logo, red focusing: the classic, double-element lenses.
- black button, red logo: late variation of the above, same lenses.
- red button, black logo, black metal focusing: very rare early variation.

- white button, with either brown or black case, has _single_element_lenses.

I see a big difference in optical quality between the single and
double-element lenses in regards to distortion and chromatic aberration.
Because all these viewers only differ in color, it is possible to see some
exchange of lenses going on. I sell original Revere lenses that are
perfect replacement for the single-element lenses with a quality equal or
better to the red button double lenses.

- gold button: controls are painted gold. If you have one of those, just
sell it to me, don't worry about it! ;)

- green button: entirely different viewer, but lenses are in the same class
as red button.

George - see you in sell-3d tonight! ;) - Themelis
