SHooting people in stereo (strangers)

I have had a problem shooting strangers when walking around town.  I have
gotten to the point that I have asked some people if it would be OK to take
there picture, and no one has refused.  The only problem is that then the
shot isn't candid.  These days, I am quite nervous that if you take a
picture of someone, and they see you do it, they may run up and punch you.
I know that unless they are famous, and think that you are poperatsi that
the chances of them getting irate are slim, but it is possible.  If someone
was taking a picture of me out in public I would find it odd, and wonder why
they were doing it.

Hey Bob W. do you want to sell the photos of your familly, I'll buy them?  ;) JK
