Mark Kernes writes that it took 2 months and counting to get some cassettes
from Wrebbit. Ouch, that is long. I usually pick them up from the stores
around where I live, and the titles that are not carried I pick up for
slightly more at the company directly. I phone them up and pick them up same
day on my way home. Of course the company is less than a mile from where I
live. Not that it was an advantage awhile back. In the summer when the
3Discover was introduced in the US, the only way I could pick one up was
to order it from there! I did manage to see it at the company at that time,
but they wouldn't let me buy it. :-(

There is a delay in the promised release dates on most of the titles, so
I guess that is the reason for the two month wait. They probably thought
they would be out in time to be delivered, but I guess it didn't
materialize that way. Some titles that were listed as officially
released were not actually available due to quality control problems
and some films had to be returned due to poor developing by the developer.
Not exposure but processing. BTW they use Kodak film. You can see it
marked on edge of the film.

3D Vision International is part of Wrebbit and was purchased or formed
a partnership in 1995. Wrebbit of course is the company that makes the
3D puzzles of famous landmarks around the world. It is a relatively new
company with its headquarters in Quebec. Paul Gallant is the founder
and President of the company. He came up with the name Wrebbit and logo
which is a frog, for the company. Here is a short description of the name
of the company in their magazine.

>>It's a French spelling of the onomatopoeic frog sound "Ribbit!" familiar
to our English readers. It's also a pun on the slang term "Frogs" used
by English and Americans (Limeys and Yanks?) to mean Frenchmen or franco-
phones, especially French Canadians and Quebecois.<<

Of course Mary Ann & Wolfgang Sell have mentioned that as of today they
will be selling the viewer and cassettes. To see a list of cassettes with
a short description of the pictures from each titles, check out my web
space at http://www.generation.net/~jacob/list.txt
The list is there for the convienance of seeing what is available now or
near future. If anyone knows of any new titles coming out, please let me
know to update my list.
