The box that will hold 100 stereo views or 12 3Discover cartridges
can easily fit 200 View Master reels, which is 1400 stereo images
vs. 144 3Discover images, so VM is 10x more dense than 3Discover.

So, what's the point?  ;) 

The small VM images need higher magnification.  There is a better
chance for better quality with the larger 3Discover images.  I would
rather see fewer better-quality images and will spend more time
looking at them, than plenty of average or low-quality images.

I don't want to compare apples and oranges.  The 100 stereo views
have their own appeal and so do the 200 VM reels and the 12 3Discover
cartridges.  I collect stereo images.  For a decent price, I'll buy
anything ;)  3Discover cartridges are a welcome addition to my
collection.
