Re: 3Discover fatal flaw

I am not sure I understand why Paul has taken such a keen interest in
Wrebbit's design and marketing of 3Discover... He wrote:

...and predicted a short life for this product.

I have a viewer and two cartridges and I am readddy to buy every single
cartridge that will come out. I like the product and storage space
has never been _my_ problem, especially now that I am clearing my basement
selling years' worth of unused 3d gear! As I've said in the past, this
(3Discover) is a great introduction to stereo photography for the general
public. And it is good to see that it is geared for adult market and
is not treated as kid's toy. I'll take advantage of the existence of
this product as long as it lasts...

>Run a roll of APS
>format slide film (granted it doesn't exist yet) through the camera,
>have it processed, drop the cannister in the APS 3Discover, and view a
>whole reel of your own pictures in their 3-Dimensional splendor.

One problem with this idea is that stereo pictures that come out of
an ordinary stereo camera are reversed right to left. The 3Discover
viewer uses only lenses, not mirrors, and it cannot make the necessary
reversal. There are ways to get around this problem but none sounds
simple and convenient to be adopted with the current cameras and
3Discover system.
