Gabriel has just pointed out to me that it was Dan Shelley who wrote the
comments I quoted as someone being offended about a misinterpretation.  I
apologize for the confusion.  I am digest mode and have not seen the
original comments yet.  I only know about them because DrT forwarded a
copy to me off-list, and I mistakenly assumed George had written them.
Sorry for the confusion and taking up the bandwith.
