Re: Hyper experience

Larry Berlin wrote something that I do not like:

Where does this come from, Larry??? I do not think that my personal
views are anti-hyper. I just made the point that hyperstereos are not
better just because they are hyper and that it is very easy to over-
hyper-do-it. Also, I said that beginners tend to be fascinated with
hyper because it is a new visual experience while more advanced
workers know better when to use it and when not to use it.

Regarding my personal photography, FYI, 1/3 of my slides circulating in
PSA are hypers. Just as an example, in a recent PSA competition in
Germany I got two awards, both examples of hyperstereos, one of which
won the "Best Architectural Slide Award". This was a hyperstereo of
buildings in Manhattan taken with a single SLR from a moving boat.

Hypers are the spice of stereo.

But, eating only spice is a terrible diet.
