*****Sorry George, your note sounded a bit that direction and that was all
that I was referring to. :-)

I just made the point that hyperstereos are not

****** That is the usual *textbook recommendation* and it leaves out the
factors I was attempting to discuss.

***** Hypers can be used for more than mere spice, especially for side by
side images intended for freeviewing. (see, I've narrowed things down quit a
bit based on feedback) It seems that what is ortho for one medium is not
ortho for another. The careful use of what is considered hyper for hand held
viewers is closer to ortho for freeviewed images (or something along those
lines). It's a bit difficult to discuss the topic of hypers when the
immediate response is how generally it shouldn't be used, *end of story*.
We've all heard that and/or said it at some time or another. It's high time
we quite thinking of it as strictly a spice and find out where in the wide
world of 3D it is of more practical application. Most other *spices*
engender special recipes and tasting sessions! Regardless of it's use it's
very much a part of the 3D experience, why not discuss it with an open mind
along with all the other topics?
