A good test would be to forget your rangefinder and hyperfocus. Using
Scala, you should be able to shoot set your focus at 10 feet, and shoot
at f/16 at top speed in open and full sunlight, and have focus from 5 ft
-> inf.

Wondering why you switched away from the early Realist... the Ilex
Paragons on these cameras have a well deserved reputation as being fine,
sharp, well coated lenses with good contrast. I sure can't complain
about the results from my own serial #A3345...
