Gabriel informed me last night that he tried measuring the FL of the
3Discover lenses and did not find the discrepancy I did.  Perhaps
my own suggestion that I am incapable of making good measurements
was the most astute part of that post. :( No sun here today to try
again, but it doesn't surprise me that a 3Discover, a ruler, and
a piece of paper were a bit much for my small and clumsy hands to
accurately handle at the same time!  Sorry for the confusion.
