In another book that has pictures of the Earth as captured from space
it mentions that the images in the book that, "Until recently, almost
all our photographs were made on Kodak Ektachrome 64 film. We are now
able to use films which record the colors we see more faithfully than
did the older films. Kodak Lumiere 100 or Fuji Velvia 50 do not have
the blue cast of the older films, and the new chemistry of the
emulsions allows us to share with you photographs of exceptional
sharpness." Don't know if this is of any help, just reporting what
it mentions. This was in Nasa Astronauts Photograph The Earth, ORBIT
by National Geographic Society. Sorry I didn't discover any 3d pics
in this one.
