mini hypers or hyper minis?

This would give these mini-subjects the disarity of a large object, but the
apparent size of a small object.
Would this miniaturization give hyper-stereo effect?  
Have any of the computer experts constructed any checkerboard graphics, or
'op art' or optical illusions, to illustrate this?
